The Jungle Girl
Ten million fire flies
Two million green lush trees
Three million fishes in the river near by
Four million autumn leaves
My Jungle.
Love, a lot of it.
Envy, not a bit.
Friends, lots of them.
Enemies, can't tolerate them.
My Jungle.
'M the Protectress.
'M the Queen.
'M the Keeper.
'M the Owner.
'M the laborer.
My Jungle.
I live in it;
and no one dare lay a finger on my sanctuary.

The Search
A Sleep
A Dream
A wake up call
That's all it takes.
I found so many things
With that my search starts
...for more than i dream of
This marks the beginning.
And yet
the tinge of doubt entangles me
...into it's treacherous web;
My path thus wavers
Not one
Not two
But too many choices to choose from.
Will I get what I want?
How will I get it?
Where will I get it?
WHEN will I get it?
WHAT is it that i want??
....and the search continues....

Confessions of a Sister
Dedicated to my one and only sister. Elder to me (whom many on first sight take to be the younger one).
- I love you.
- I hate you.
- You are the best critic I could ever have.
- I am jealous when people say you seem to be the younger one.
- I never want to be like you.
- I admire your guts.
- I love to steal your belongings.
- I wish I was as pretty as you.
- I miss you.
- I wish I was as intelligent as you.
- I've been imagining your wedding day ever since Shivangi's sister got married.
- I keep doubting if you love me above all...except mum and dad.
- I don't like it when you keep talking on phone and not with me.
- I know no one has ever loved me as much as you have.
- You are the best sister I could ever have had.
- I've never felt the need of a brother with you in my life.

I Want To Live Again
I feel the wind whispering through my hair
I feel like the morning dew
I feel new
I feel I am born again
I want to live again
No clue where my heart is
No clue where I am
No limitations
No restrictions
I feel I am born again
I want to live again
I feel like running through fields
I feel like climbing top of the hills
I feel like flying with the raven in the sky
I feel like dancing with the moon
I feel like exploring the unexplored
I feel like going beyond the world
I feel I am born again
I want to live again.
I want to find light in the dark
I want to reach out and hold the sun
I want to flow with the river
I want to fall with the waterfall
I want to rise with the wave
I want to zoom like a canon ball
I want to sprint like a leopard
I feel new
I feel I am born again
I want to live again!

Random Things About Me (Part 2)
Here I am again telling, rather blabbering about myself without knowing if anyone is even interested in knowing it. I guess I am doing this for two major reasons:
1. I am trying to understand myself.
2. I want my tini-mini blog to be active untill I get enough time to write the long posts I once used to.
So without any further explanantions lets start with 'myself' :
32. I don't like talking on phone long.
33. I love melodramatic movies.
34. I wonder how someone came love only and only one person at a time. Well as in you know 'boyfriend' kind of love.(Many contradictions coming to this for sure.)
35. I have a major ego problem.
36. I can be irritating without even caring about it.
37. I am desperate and excited for my sister's wedding day. (Strange!? I know, girls are usually desperate and excited about their own wedding, but seriously I can't imagine myself getting married.)
38. I don't like orange candies.
39. I believe I am evil. NOT cruel but evil. =D
40. I am selfish for strangers.
41. I love cotton sarees.
42. I don't believe in the mythical-religious stories. But I do believe in a divine power. Though I must confess I love reading, watching and hearing all these stories such as Ramayana.
43. I want to fall in love with a complete stranger.
44. I don't really know what is my kind of guy but from my past experiences I've realized my kind of guy would be a lean, rich, B.A.D.(it is in capitals because I want to emphasize on this one ), dumb, respectful of elders, flamboyant, and ready to accept me as I am - without any changes.
45. I love momos.(That is why I eat them up.)=D
46. I don't make friends easily.
47. I might seem shy, innocent, quite, and lovey-dovey to strangers.
48. I get angry really fast.
49. I believe in 'magic'.
50. I don't really hate anyone.
51. Once I get to know someone I stick to them.
52. I don't like tragedies. And my entire course of this year is full of tragedies...trauma!!
53. I adore my best buddies. (I know it is obvious but I just wanted to mention it.)
54. I can like anything! Beleive me! if I can like 'Laga Chunri Mein Daag'- the movie, I can like anything. So say my friends. :)
55. My grammar is BAD!!!
56. I am bad with spellings as well. (Cool now everyone is wondering 'What is this idiot doing in a course like English hons.?')
57. I have a 'twin'. Not the biological one but mentally and philosophically alike twin. ANCHAL. I hope you read this Anchal.
58. Even though Sanjukta (one of my best friend) hardly likes anything in me she IS my best friend.Strange but true.
60. I lost a best friend lately. Well it was coming for a long time but I accepted it recently.(I had 5 best friends before this.)
61. I don't like when people say 'Bye'.
62. I never turn around to see if the person is still standing where I lift them or have they left.
63. I love taking long walks.
64. I prefer face-to-face conversations.
65. I don't like candle-light dinners. The idea just seems too obvious to me. I prefer thunders...and beaches...or mountainhills for 'romance'. But I am not much of a romantic.
Ummm....that's it for today. I hope I did not repeat anything, I don't want to go check it, because my silly super slow computer is frustrating me now. And I want to make one of my past statements clear: when I said 'I don't like Harry Potter' I meant I did not like Harry Potter the character, because I love the series. Its my all time favorite! My school friends and I even called ourselves 'Potter Freaks or Potterish'. And about the character, I am not outrightly saying that I don't like it I am trying to say that I don't like it as much as he is hyped about. I'd prefer Ron over Harry any day! I guess I've made my point clear.
That's it for the time being. :)

The Wedding Date

Kat Ellis (Debra Messing) is a single New Yorker who returns to her parents' house in London to be the maid of honor at her younger half sister's (Amy Adams) wedding. She is dismayed to discover that the best man is none other than her former fiancé, who unceremoniously dumped her two years ago. Anxious about confronting him and eager to impress him, she hires debonair male escort Nick Mercer (Dermot Mulroney) to pose as her boyfriend.
Kat intends to make her former flame, Jeffrey (Jeremy Sheffield), jealous, but her plan backfires when Nick convinces everyone, including her, that they are madly in love. Kat then feels herself too falling for Nick as he slowly falls for her. Along the way, Kat discovers that her younger half sister, Amy, slept with Jeffrey while they were still together. This affair was the reason why Jeffrey dumped Kat because he fancied himself in love with Amy. Amy confesses her guilt to her fiancé Ed (Jack Davenport) just before the church ceremony. However, Ed decides that he loves Amy more than he is angry and they end up getting hitched after all. Kat and Nick end up together.
I don't say this about all movies even though I am a movie freek and I watch every next movie. To top it all I almost like all the movies i watch but there are only a few that really touch my heart, or for that matter my mind. Just to add 'Kaminey' is the best movie after 'Dev D' in Bollywood this year.
Dermot Mulroney is one of the hottest guys in Hollywood.

Ronald 'Ron' Weasley

Ronald Bilius Weasley: Meaning
Ronald: Having Gods' Power
Bilius: One of the four Medieval "humors" (temperaments), indicating anger and peevishness. Ron takes his middle name from his Uncle Bilius.
Weasley: Family name.
Ron Weasley is Harry Potter’s best friend and the youngest son of Mollyand Arthur Weasley. The story of Ron’s life is one of being overshadowed by his family and friends, yet it is Ron’s heart and humor that have solidified his friendships and given those around him the support they needed to carry through. Tall and gangly with bright red hair and freckles. Ron has a way of keeping things lighthearted that makes him well-liked, despite occasional bouts of stress. He also played an instrumental role in Voldemort’s defeat, and though history may not remember him for it as it will Harry, Ron learned as he grew that this did not make him any less important.
Ron met Harry on the Hogwarts Express in 1991, and they quickly became friends. A funny sort of jealousy existed between them, with Harry in awe of Ron’s family and knowledge of the wizarding world and Ron of Harry’s money and fame. However, despite feeling angry with Harry at times, such as when he thought Harry had deliberately entered the Triwizard Tournament or misled him in the hunt for Horcruxes, Ron deeply cared about his best friend and overwhelmingly supported him – putting his life on the line several times and supporting Harry in the face of doubters. Harry knew this when he quickly forgave Ron each time he returned.
Ron also had another relationship which faced some growing pains over the years – his friendship with Hermione Granger. Though attracted to each other for years, the two showed this mainly by bickering; Ron certainly didn’t step up when he had the chance and ask Hermione to the Yule Ball, for example, though he spent the whole evening envious of her date, Viktor Krum. In his sixth year, Ron came to the cold realization that Hermione had likely snogged Krum and retaliated by getting involved with Lavender Brown. The superficial relationship soon fell apart, and though Ron continued to fear that Hermione wouldn’t think him good enough for her, they finally came around to each other just before the Battle of Hogwarts.
Ron did manage to capture some glory while at Hogwarts, as Keeper for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. An avid Chudley Cannons fan his whole life, Ron tried out for the Gryffindor team and made it in 1995 – only to find himself a nervous wreck during matches. When he finally found his focus, though, Ron ended up being a team hero and leading them to two Quidditch cups, fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Above all, through his childhood, Ron played an instrumental part in Harry’s epic encounters with Voldemort. Among other things he sacrificed himself so that Harry could reach the Philosopher’s Stone, journeyed with Harry into the Chamber of Secrets, helped form Dumbledore's Army, fought and was severely injured in the Department of Mysteries, defended against the Death Eaters that broke into Hogwarts, saved Harry from drowning and destroyed a Horcrux, figured out how to break into the Chamber of Secrets again, to destroy another Horcrux, and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts, breaking one of Voldemort’s Silencing Charms and defeating Fenrir Greyback. Though he later jokes of being “extremely famous”, it would not be undeserved.
Following Voldemort’s defeat, Harry, Neville and Ron were recruited by Minister Shacklebolt to be Aurors, and seek out the remaining Death Eaters. Ron also helped George run the hugely successful Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes shop. Sometime between 1998 and 2005, Ron married Hermione, with whom he had two children, Rose and Hugo. And in the end, he got the fame he had desired ever since the Mirror of Erised showed him as Head Boy – and got his picture on a Chocolate Frog card. (These are just speculations.)

" Always the tone of surprise."
-- Ron Weasley, to Hermione (Deathly Hallows)
Weasley can save anything,
He never leaves a single ring,
That's why Gryffindors all sing:
Weasley is our King.
-- victory song (Order of the Phoenix)
"That makes me sound a lot cooler than I was."
-- Ron Weasley, to Harry (Deathly Hallows)

It Is All Fine
Thursday, July 2, 2009
Someone's watching over me...

Something pulled me back
The voice of reason I forgot I had
All I know is you're not here to say
What you always used to say
But it's written in the sky tonight
Seen that ray of light
And it's shining on my destiny
Shining all the time
And I wont be afraid
To follow everywhere it's taking me
All I know is yesterday is gone
And right now I belong
To this moment to my dreams
It doesn't matter what people say
And it doesn't matter how long it takes
Believe in yourself and you'll fly high
And it only matters how true you are
Be true to yourself and follow your heart

Solving the Past

Thanks To You

'M fine
Thanks to you.
I eat
I talk
I sleep
I survive
Thanks to you.
BUT
As I walk today
On the Highway
searching
for a way
by the way on which
I will stumble upon
someday,
I feel
a feeling I cannot apprehend.
I feel happy, for sure
I feel unsure
too.
A question
keeps buzzing
Am I really happy?
Or
is it yet another illusion?
Which creats confusion!
But yes
I know
I HAVE to be happy
content, high on spirits
as superfluous things
make everything
abysmal.
So,
'M fortunate
to have
whatever I have.
And for all this
I
thank you
the Angel above
guiding my life
and fighting my
obnoxious self.
Dear Angel,
Thanks to you
I survive
that too,
as good luck would have it.

One Love :))
watched for the 100th time today THE "DDLJ"!!I mean its SUCH A MELODRAMATIC movie. I hate the way that mother keeps on tell her poor daughter(Simra
I hope the point is clear now. :)
I've always loved animals as a mater of fact even insects(that is how weird I can be)!But to confronting them has always been difficult for me. Everyone loves some animal or other, most like dogs, others lions-tigers-leopards-and many other. And 'm NO different in this case! I love the smallest member of the cat family!
CATS! I now some people think cats aren't good. So I'd like to advise 'these' people that just go try and become friends with them and you'll realise how lovable the are!
I'll tell you through my own experience. My relatives have ALWAYS had cats as pets and whenever I went to meet them I used to ask them to PLEASE keep them away from me. I was SO scared of them!I never tried to even go and say a simple hello to them! And then one day my mum got a li'l kitten home! I completely fell in love with him (Chilli, A he-cat). I couldn't help it! And now that he is gone he has taught me all animals are special, it's just US who make them 'seem' scary! He became one of the loves in my life and probably the one I claim to love more than ANYBODY (yes! more than I love my parents)! THIS is Chilli:

All I want to convey through this post is that every animal has feelings, don't drive them away, they just want love which WE have in abundance to give but don't give due to our selfishness and meanness. And 'M telling you your loving them is not a waste as animals can be humans BEST friend...they'll love you UNCONDITIONALLY, without question, without doubt, and without reasoning! They'll JUST love you!
[P.S. :The first two photos are of my relative's cats (Patloo and Saadhu).]
[P.P.S. : I love load of other things as well, just to add, for example chocolates, cakes, ice-creams, watermelons, walnut brownies, the word 'FREAKING', Ron Weasley, Edward Cullen, movies(as one must have guessed by now), etc...etc..etc. ]

The color "BLUE"

Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue. While blue has different symbolic meanings, individual reactions to the color blue can vary widely.
Nature of Blue:
Culture of Blue:
Blue conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister, hence the blue power suit of the corporate world and the blue uniforms of police officers. Long considered a corporate color, blue, especially darker blue, is associated with intelligence, stability, unity, and conservatism.
Just as seeing red alludes to the strong emotions invoked by the color red, feeling blue or getting the blues represents the extremes of the calm feelings associated with blue, i.e. sadness or depression, lack of strong (violent) emotion. Dark blue is sometimes seen as staid or stodgy — old-fashioned.
In Iran, blue is the color of mourning while in the West the something blue bridal tradition represents love.
Using Blue:
Mix the color of blue with green for a natural, watery palette. Add gray for understated elegance.
Sky blue and robin's egg blue, especially when combined with neutral light brown, tans, or beige are environmentally friendly color combinations.
Throw in a dash of blue to cool down a hot red or orange scheme. Grab attention with the contrast of blue and yellow.Dark blue with white is fresh, crisp, and nautical. Red, white, and blue is a patriotic color trio for many countries, including the United States.
Use dark blue with metallic silver accents for an elegantly rich appearance.
Feng-Shui use of the blue color
Blue is a magnificent feng shui color. It ranges from gentle aqua blue to the blue-green of the ocean to the deep indigo blue of the crown chakra. In feng shui, we associate blue with the clear sky and the healing, refreshing waters. It is excellent for use in the feng shui areas of East (Health & Family) and Southeast (Wealth & Abundance) of your space, as Water energy nourishes the Wood element of these two areas. Bring it in the form of wall color, art, or decor items.
Gentle blue is an excellent feng shui choice for study, especially as a ceiling color. Several studies have shown that children performed better under the blue-colored ceiling then under the regular white one.
Light blue is also the feng shui color of harmonious expansion and gentle growth, while darker blue evokes the feng shui energy of deep calm and serenity. Depending on your feng shui priorities, you might want to introduce some deep blue elements into your bedroom to promote better sleep or a gentle playful aqua in the living room of a big, busy family.
Deep blue should be used sparingly in the feng shui areas of South, Northwest and West areas of your space, and freely in the North, East and Southeast. One of the most calming feng shui combinations is the combination of the blue and white colors, as it brings the energy of unlimited sky and happiness to one's space.
